What is different about legal services
Most industries can write freely about results. This one cannot, and the constraint is enforceable by a regulator rather than by taste.
- Claims about outcomes, specialisation and comparative quality are restricted, and the rules vary by jurisdiction
- A model summarising your page may drop the qualifier that made a claim compliant, so the qualifier belongs in the same sentence as the claim
- Buyers ask about cost structure, which in law is fee arrangement: hourly, fixed, contingency, consultation terms. A page that answers this plainly is rare
- Jurisdiction is a hard filter. A page that never states which courts or regions a practice covers is unusable for a question that always includes a place
- Clients ask what happens next, not what the law says. Process, timelines and who they will actually speak to are the answerable questions
